Kids learn to make things for their American Girl (or other 18" dolls). We make realistic miniature food out of Sculpey® clay, sew clothes by hand and by machine, make accessories such as a bound book, shoes, flower wreath. The amount of projects completed depends on the number of hours the child attends class. These activities are suitable for girls ages 7-13.
This doll house has open shelves with figures and furnishings on a larger scale than Playmobil. It's perfect for younger kids to play "house" with. It includes a stove and a refrigerator stocked with miniature food. (hand made by Helga Motley) Each room is filled with charming and sturdy miniatures.
A table is always set up to work with Sculpey ® clay. It is used to make small sculptures, miniature foods, animal figures & beads. Helga Motley is an experienced artist and teacher in the plastic Sculpey® clay. The clay is baked later in an oven, to make it hard.
The miniature world includes a castle, a palace, a modern house, a cabin, a native American land, cars and trucks, carriages, airplanes, animals, people of all types, trees, plants, water and mountains…and even a marketplace with miniature foods. All for your child to play with.
