Doll Camp is a week long summer camp for girls 7-13 and their American Girl® dolls. Other 18" size dolls are also welcome. The room is set up with doll furniture (kitchen, living  room, bedroom, outdoor barbeque with camping tent). There is food to serve and sample clothes to try on. The girls play together with the dolls they bring.

Girls learn to make things for their dolls. They sew doll clothes with sewing machines. They make realistic miniature doll foods out of Sculpey® clay. They can also make a doll handbag, doll flower wreath, or bedding. A loom is set up for weaving rugs and blankets.

Helga Motley is holding this popular camp for the 14th summer. Four different weeks are scheduled for the summer. Class size is kept small, to 6 kids, so reserve space early. It's a great way for friends to come together to learn and play.

Helga sewed her own clothes for many years and wants to re-skill today's kids. Making things yourself is empowering and exciting. The doll clothes are designed and cut out ahead of time, so the girls can focus on the sewing.

All skill levels are welcome, including inexperience. Girls who have already attended classes can gain more skills by doing more complicated projects.
